MEDIUM VOLTAGE POWER CABLES
MV Power Cables are rated up to 18/30 (36) kv and mainly used in MV distribution network. The conductors are copper or aluminium, mostly compacted stranded to shape round insulated core. Their size range from 25 up to 630 sq.mm per core and 1 or 3 insulated cores are laid up to assembly a cable. Any cable protections may be applied, including construction and materials for direct burial, longitudinal and / or radial water tightness, anti-termite and fire safety.
